Digital Marketing Awards Asia 2017

ABOUT THE AWARDS

The Digital Marketing Awards Asia 2017 is hosted by Forrester and CMO Innovation. The goal: Inspire marketers in Asia by highlighting innovative approaches and best practices for digital marketing. The winning entries we are looking for aren’t just creative and engaging; they also delivered significant business outcomes for their brands.

To determine the winners, the judges will focus on how marketers use digital marketing at each stage of the customer life cycle. Awards will be given in three categories corresponding to different aspects of what Forrester calls the marketing RaDaR:

Reach: programs that generate brand visibility. Reach efforts drive discovery and awareness. These include word-of-mouth marketing, paid social advertising, and thought leadership.

Depth: programs that close sales. Depth programs pave the path for exploration and buying. These include ratings, reviews, and brand communities for information that helps to close existing prospects or leads.

Relationship: programs that build loyalty. Relationship tactics increase the loyalty and lifetime value of existing customers. These include a consistent presence on a branded social media account and loyalty programs designed to create repeat business.

We are using four weighted criteria to evaluate these digital marketing programs:

  • Strategies and objectives (10%)
  • Tactics and execution (10%)
  • Measurement (20%)
  • Business outcomes (60%)

 

Submission guidelines

  • All companies and organizations operating in Asia can participate without any fees.
  • Any digital marketing projects that operates effectively in 2017will be eligible for participation (including projects that are launched before 2017 or project that will continue to operate after 2017).
  • All digital marketing program can only be submitted once and cannot be modified once submitted.
  • When submitting digital marketing programs, companies or organizations will need to provide program introduction along with summary about its strategy and objectives, tactics and execution, measurement metrics as well as business outcome.

 

Timeline

Entries submission deadline: 31 July

Award ceremony: 30 August

 

The awards will be presented to the winners at Forrester's CX Singapore 2017 Forum.

CATEGORIES

Digital Reach Award

(1 Winner, 2-3 Finalists)

This award measures the reach of digital marketing campaigns. For example, do companies try to reach new audiences with digital media and marketing information? If the digital marketing campaign’s objective is to increase brand awareness, then this is a typical Digital Reach case. If the campaign is about word-of-mouth marketing, paid social advertising, or building thought leadership, it can also be included in this category.

Digital Depth Award

(1 Winner, 2-3 Finalists)

This award measures the depth of the digital marketing campaign and its influence on purchase conversion rate. For example, has the company successfully converted prospects to customers with digital media? If the digital marketing campaign is intended to help potential customers complete purchases, it should be considered as a Digital Depth case. If the campaign helps potential customers obtain feedback from existing customers through social tools such as blogs, ratings and reviews or branded community, it should be included in this category.

Digital Relationship Award

(1 Winner, 2-3 Finalists)

This award measures the influence of digital marketing campaigns on customer loyalty. For example, is the digital marketing campaign designed to increase brand loyalty or customer lifetime value of existing customers? If the digital marketing campaign’s goal is to boost repurchases, it’s a typical Digital Relationship case. If the campaign builds an official page on social media or user community, it also belongs to this category.

 

There are a total of 6 awards open for nomination. Campaigns can be submitted under the B2C or B2B Award group, and each group has 3 categories.
